2026 Signature Development of the Year

This award recognizes the commercial real estate Signature Development of the Year, specifically honoring individual buildings or small-scale developments that are not part of large, master-planned, or multi-building development projects. The award celebrates the most outstanding and unique project—either newly constructed or substantially renovated—that was completed and delivered for occupancy during the year preceding the Awards Gala. All eligible projects must be located within the fifteen-county region comprising Middle Tennessee.

Eligible recipients:

• Developer must have Middle Tennessee presence and local office.
• A least one part of the project must have been delivered for occupancy in the year prior to the Awards Gala. Consideration of overall development will be taken into account.

All required fields must be answered. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. The deadline to submit nomination(s) is 4pm on January 14, 2026- No exceptions

• To nominate please include the following
• Name and address of the development
• Name and address of the developer or owner
• Date of project delivery
• Total square footage and acres
• Square footage of retail space
• Number of units
• Total cost of project
• Briefly describe what makes this project unique 
• Briefly describe the complexity of project
• Briefly describe the economic impact of the project for the city (MSA)
• Number of jobs created
• List of top individuals associated with the project for example: Lender, Contractor, Architect
• Name and contact information of the nominator
